GlobeSt.com EXCLUSIVE: RealShare Conference Comes to DC Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, DC-Real Estate Media Inc. has prepared to conduct the Washington, DC version of its Real Share Conference for the second time on Wednesday. Real estate players from every facet of the industry have arranged to gather at the event, which will take place in the accommodating conference rooms of the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel Downtown. “We expect a more pleasant surrounding at the Mayflower,” Real Estate Media vice president for Strategic Development Rich Kelley says, comparing this year’s venue to last year’s site. “It is a nice setting and it should be a great day.” Planners expect attendance to be in the 600 range–a great increase over the attendance level of 450 from last year’s inaugural event.

Real Estate Media president and CEO Jonathan A. Schein will open the event with a welcome, and US General Services Administration’s Public Buildings Service commissioner F. Joseph Moravec will follow with the keynote address. A new segment, “RealShare Unplugged,” has been added to the lineup this year and will feature “Ten Minutes with Jeff Neal,” a talk on pertinent issues facing the industry from an investor and developer’s standpoint by Monument Realty principal Jeff Neal. A RealShare Conference favorite, “Inside the Real Estate Mind,” is also on the menu. This time around, Real Estate Media editor-in-chief Michael G. Desiato will host a one-on-one conversation with JE Robert Cos. chairman and CEO Joseph E. Robert Jr. on the common ground between real estate, business and individual pursuits.
