The CB Richard Ellis team of Benjamin Friedland and Peter Simel negotiated the six-year sublease on behalf of BroadVision, Inc. CBRE's Richard S. Levy together with Howard Bressler, formerly of CBRE and currently with USI Real Estate Advisors LLC, represented DDK.
"This transaction allowed DDK to relocate its corporate offices to one of the City's most prominent business addresses located in the heart of the 34th Street/Penn Plaza district," says Friedland. He tells GlobeSt.com that CBRE is handling BroadVision's coast-to-coast disposal of 160,000 sf of space in 13 offices.
Owned by Vornado Realty Trust, the property boasts 14 entrances, 44 elevators and a 695-car underground parking garage, as well as direct access to Penn Station.In addition to DDK & Co., other major tenants include GMAC, Cabletron Systems, CISCO, First Albany and Smith Barney. Space in the building is advertised at $35 per sf.
