NANJING, CHINA-Locally based Ren Heng Development has selected the design of Newport Beach, CA-based JBZ Architecture + Planning for a massive mixed-use development on about seven acres between Yangtze River and the Qinhuai River in the Hexi District of the Nanjing CBD.

The development, estimated to cost as much as $500 million, will consist of two residential towers, one with 32 floors and the other with 49 floors, sitting on 750,000 sf of office, retail, clubhouse and recreational space. JBZ will be overseeing the project, which is due to break ground in the next 18 months as part a large master planned “new town” located adjacent to the Olympic Center.
