ATLANTA-Metro Atlanta’s outlying areas continue to be one of the hottest commercial hubs in the nation as retail developers spot northwest Fulton County as the newest turf, area brokers following this submarket tell GlobeSt.com.

For example, Tri-Kell Investments of Cobb County is asking Fulton officials to rezone 23 acres at Birmingham Highway (GA 372) and Providence Road for the development of 120,000 sf of retail, 15 miles northwest of Downtown Atlanta.

Three miles away, AG Armstrong of Tampa, FL needs rezoning on about nine acres for a planned 68,200 sf of retail, 13,800 sf of office and a 13,000-sf village green.
