In addition to the 11 on-site affordable units, the developer has agreed to incorporate an affordable housing contribution of $100,000 to be used for affordable housing projects in the neighborhood. "The Brewery Lofts project will reuse historically significant brewery buildings and provide much needed additional housing to this neighborhood," says BRA director Mark Maloney. "Additionally, the project will provide streetscape and curbside signage improvements along with the creation of approximately 120 new construction jobs over an 18-month construction period."
