Payless Joins Arizona Pavilions Roster

MARANA, AZ-The national retailer takes 4,000 sf in for the one-year-old, 203,000-sf power center that's now fully leased with the new deal. Payless ShoeSource is planning an Aug. 1 opening under terms of a 10-year lease.

MARANA, AZ-Payless ShoeSource Inc. has signed a 10-year lease for 4,000 sf in Arizona Pavilions on the southwest corner of Interstate 10 and Cortaro Road in Marana. Payless will move into the new space Aug. 1.

Tom Woods of Colliers International’s Phoenix office represented Payless in the deal, and David Hammack of Volk Co. represented Preferred Retail Store Developers LLC of Austin, TX. Woods tells GlobeSt.com that the deal is standard for the Marana market, where vacancy rates hover between 8% and 10%.
