The headquarters will consist of three floors of operation and administrative services, a ground floor conference/community room with frontage on Washington Street, as well as a small retail space. The new building will replace the former Social Security building currently located at this site.
"Central Boston Elder Services' new headquarters will not only provide a brand new home for this great organization, but it will also bring new life to Dudley Square," says BRA director Mark Maloney.
Central Boston Elder Services, a private, non-profit corporation which helps Boston area seniors remain in their own homes by providing short and long-term care, filed a Small Project Review application with the BRA for the project in February.
