Booz Allen Becomes Lead Tenant at One Dulles Tower

HERNDON, VA-Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. has decided to lay the groundwork for expansion by securing spacious new 242,000-sf digs at One Dulles Tower, a 405,000-sf property in the Woodland Office Park. The international consulting concern signed a long-term lease with property owner Corporate Office Properties Trust, which acquired the class A structure last year for $71.2 million. “One Dulles Tower provides the opportunity for Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. to be located in a high-profile building with great access to the Dulles Toll Road,” COPT president and COO Randall M. Griffin notes.

Development of One Dulles Tower, once known as Waterview I, reached completion in early 2002. Located just three miles from the Washington Dulles International Airport at 13200 Woodland Park Dr., the 13-story tower–which is accentuated by an adjacent parking 1,575-space parking facility–has been fully leased to VeriSign Inc. The Internet and telecommunications networks infrastructure services provider, whose lease agreement is not scheduled to expire until 2014, will relinquish part of its space to Booz Allen and relocate those displaced offices to other company sites.
