"We are seeking to acquire a large number of convenience-oriented retail properties in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire and are very pleased to add Flint Village Plaza to our portfolio," says Aubrey E. Cannuscio, Pivotal's senior vice president of acquisitions.

The retail strip center's ten tenants include Brooks Pharmacy, Hollywood Video, Rainbow Rental, Radio Shack and CitiFinancial. According to Cannuscio, "We were attracted by the great roster of tenants, the center's prominent location at a busy signalized intersection in the densely populated Flint Village section of Fall River and its potential for future pad site expansion."

Jonathan Aron and Robert Tito of Boston-based NAI Hunneman Commercial represented the seller in the transaction. Finard & Co. LLC has been retained by Pivotal to provide property management and leasing services for Flint Village Plaza. According to Robert Karam of Flint Village LLC, "Flint Village Shopping Center has been an excellent investment for us over the years. PIVOTAL offered us a good price, a professional approach and confidence that the sale transaction would close."
