Among the irritants at the property, according to the city, is a lighted sign visible from I-75 in which the hotel name is misspelled.
More serious infractions, according to the city, is that the property does not have a business license and that the owners have failed to sign necessary paperwork with the city's building department and city clerk's office, for occupancy approval and tax collection, respectively.
The hotel has been in operation for many years in the city and is located in the suburb's business district. Over the years, the hotel has operated under the Holiday Inn, Quality Inn, Guest House Inn and other flags.
