Dong Ba, an Asian restaurant, opened in 1,300 sf in Beechcrest Shopping Center at 10815 Beechnut St. Shawn Ackerman in the Houston office for Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial says the five-year lease was a direct deal with the restaurateur, Dong Ba. Ackerman handles the lone commercial property of Beechnut 10815 Inc. The 31,000-sf center, which is 92% leased, rents for $1 per sf.
Ackerman also cornered a five-year lease with Speed Demon Driving School, which took 900 sf in Village Green at 14144 Westheimer Road. The 30,000-sf, 80%-leased center has a quoted rent of $1 per sf. Ackerman represents the building owner, VG Realty Partners of Midland, TX.
