Wachusett Plaza Sells for Close to $4M

WEST BOYLSTON, MA-In a deal that is indicative of investors' current interest in area retail centers, Surabian Realty Co. acquires Wachusett Plaza, a 106,036-sf retail shopping center located that is 62% occupied, for $3.5 million.

WEST BOYLSTON, MA-Nationwide Real Estate Investments sold Wachusett Plaza, a 106,036-sf retail shopping center on Route 12 in the main retail corridor of the city, for $3.5 million. Worcester, MA-based Surabian Realty Co. acquired the property.

NAI Hunneman Commercial negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. Robert Tito, executive vice president and principal of NAI Hunneman, says that the retail center was 62% occupied at the time of the sale. “The buyer saw an upside in renting the space,” he adds.
