Ann Taylor to Relocate Some Operations to Milford

MILFORD, CT-Women's retailer Ann Taylor will relocate its data center from New York City and its operations group from New Haven, to approximately 42,000 sf at 476 Wheelers Farm Rd. here.

MILFORD, CT-There has been a total of 55,120-sf in new lease deals, including a transaction of about 42,000 sf of office space with women’s specialty retailer Ann Taylor, at the 476 Wheelers Farm Rd. building, part of the Crown Corporate Campus here.

The transaction with Ann Taylor involves a lease term of 15 years and encompasses the entire second floor and a portion of the first floor for the company’s data center and back office operations. Cushman & Wakefield officials say that Ann Taylor will relocate its data center from New York City and its operations group from space in New Haven.

Kevin Foley, senior director of C&W, serves as exclusive leasing agent to the property owner, Garden City, NY-based Crown Properties. David Lachtman of Platte, Klarsfeld & Levine LLP represented Crown Properties in the lease negotiations. Ann Taylor, headquartered in New York City, operates 648 stores in 43 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Studley Inc. represented Ann Taylor in the deal.
