Alexander G. Reilly with Houston's Boyd Commercial tells GlobeSt.com that the supplier signed a three-year lease for a property with a 38 cents per sf quoted rate. He says the search took about a month as the inbound company previewed industrial space in the north and northwest submarkets. The 12249 FM 529 Road building in the Northwinds Industrial Park was selected because it provides an outside storage yard and was a good deal, according to Reilly.
Reilly says the game plan is to wait and see how the location performs before the firm decides if it will expand the Texas footprint. Steve Marimon with Texas Development of Houston represented the local building owner.
