Building Supply Firm Ramps Up Texas Entry

HOUSTON-Interior Exterior Building Supply of New Orleans is settling into a 17,000-sf leased building at Northwinds Industrial Park. The inbound tenant signs for three years to test the waters in Texas.

HOUSTON-Interior Exterior Building Supply LP of New Orleans has set up its first Texas location in a 17,000-sf building at the Northwinds Industrial Park in northwest Houston.

Alexander G. Reilly with Houston’s Boyd Commercial tells GlobeSt.com that the supplier signed a three-year lease for a property with a 38 cents per sf quoted rate. He says the search took about a month as the inbound company previewed industrial space in the north and northwest submarkets. The 12249 FM 529 Road building in the Northwinds Industrial Park was selected because it provides an outside storage yard and was a good deal, according to Reilly.
