Everglades on the Bay, a contemporary-style mixed-use project, will have 870 condominium residences as well as 69,000 sf of ground-floor retail space. The units will range from 550 sf to 2,100 sf and are priced between $169,000 and more than $1 million.

The look and feel are designed to be urban. "From a master planning standpoint, this is an incredible opportunity for us because Everglades will serve to bring people back to Downtown," Diaz says in a statement.

Fullerton-Diaz is recognized for its work on Murano and the Continuum on Miami's South Beach.
