Payless Inks 10-Year Pact at Falcon Gateway

MESA, AZ-The shoe retailer pens a 10-year lease with a $740,000 value for the Falcon Gateway community center, joining a Wal-Mart Supercenter and Staples. The 3,000-sf store will open doors later this month.

MESA, AZ-Topeka, Kansas-based retailer Payless ShoeSource has signed a 10-year lease for 3,000 sf in the Falcon Gateway community center.

“It’s a brand-new building and yet another great location in North Mesa,” Tom Woods, a senior vice president of marketing at Colliers International’s Phoenix office, tells GlobeSt.com. Located on the southeast corner of McKellips Road and Greenfield Road, the new store will be attached to the center’s anchor Wal-Mart Supercenter. Final preparations are being made to the interior, with a grand opening slated for later this month.
