10,725 SF Closes Off in Historic Building

HOUSTON-Accounting firm Green & McElreath and SouthTrust Bank commit to 5,700 sf and 4,707 sf, respectively, for class B office space in the historic Neils Esperson Building at 808 Travis St. in the downtown.

HOUSTON-A local accounting firm and SouthTrust Bank have signed office leases, totaling 10,725 sf, in the historic Neils Esperson Building at 808 Travis St. in downtown Houston. The building and its sister structure, with a combined 570,044 sf, are now 81% occupied.

Green & McElreath signed a long-term lease in the 32-story structure to drive a relocation from the nearby Bank of America building. The firm is planning a July 1 move-in, Michelle Ellis-Felder with Transwestern Commercial Services’ Houston office tells GlobeSt.com. The accounting firm was represented in the negotiations by Tommy Alexander in CB Richard Ellis Inc.’s Houston office.
