Two Ballston Plaza was developed in 1988 as one facet of a three-building compound that reached completion in 1990. Situated at 1110 N. Glebe Rd., the Keyes Condon Florance-designed 11-story property boasts an easily accessible location off I-66. According to Trizec vice president Paul Schulman, the Two Ballston Plaza offering provides the Homeland Security office with, "appropriate space that is convenient to Downtown Washington and to other government offices that it was important to be close to."

In addition to its strategic location and surrounding amenities, the building provides such on-site extras as a restaurant and a fitness facility within its ground-level retail segment. With this latest lease, Two Ballston Plaza has a current occupancy level of 95%. Other tenants in the building include the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, the Council for Exceptional Children, and information systems provider Momentum Systems Inc. Although financial terms of GSA's agreement have not been disclosed, Trizec is marketing remaining space at the building for $28.50 per sf.
