Logistics Companies Ink Industrial Subleases

PORTLAND-Two logistics companies have recently subleased space in the region. Gresham, OR-based Barton International has subleased a 12,000-sf building here from Houston-based Eagle Global Logistics and Top Shelf Distribution of Tualatin, OR subleases half of a 20,000-sf building there from Berg Properties of Lake Oswego, OR.Barton is a transportation broker. The building it subleased is located at 9620 NE Colfax in the NE Columbia Corridor submarket. Steve Barragar of Grubb & Ellis and Tom Talbot of GVA Kidder Mathews represented Eagle Global Logistics. Aaron Watt of Norris & Stevens represented Barton. The asking rate for the space was $0.35 per sf per month; negotiated lease rates lately have been closer to $0.33 per sf per month.Top Shelf’s new location is right off Interstate 5 at 19818 SW Teton in Tualatin. The building is now 100% leased. Barragar represented Top Shelf in the lease negotiation while Steve Klein of GVA Kidder Mathews represented Berg Properties.
