Quartet's Five-Year Pacts Sparks Expansion

HOUSTON-NewQuest Properties will start work soon on a 7,000-sf expansion of the 105,000-sf Cy-Fair Town Center after a series of leases for 7,160 sf and a letter of intent on 1,200 sf fill the remaining inline space.

HOUSTON-With the last of the retail space now committed, NewQuest Properties in Houston is planning a 7,000-sf expansion to the 105,000-sf, Kroger-anchored Cy-Fair Town Center in the northwest submarket. Triggering the expansion play is a quartet of just-signed leases totaling 7,160 sf.

While ramping up the soon-to-start construction, NewQuest has tenants already lining up for the new building, says the firm’s Heather Nguyen, who’s holding a letter of intent for the last 1,200-sf spot of existing space. The newly signed tenants are Hintze Dance Center, Classic Hair Inc, Children’s Boutique and Paper Daisy LLC, each coming to a five-year term.
