Road America Motor Club Inks 22,935-SF Lease

MIAMI-Road America Motor Club has signed a long-term, 22,935-sf lease at 7300 Corporate Center Dr. within Airport Corporate Center, a one-million-plus-sf, mixed-use park. Brokers did not disclose the value of the lease. But based on recent quarterly reports on industrial space in the market, the lease would be worth close to $1 million.”It was a great deal for everybody,” says Susan Thomas, a broker involved in the transaction. Thomas, a senior director with CB Richard Ellis, represented Road America Motor Club. Tony Puente, Richard Bamonte and Janette Sanchez of CBRE represented the property owner, Miami RPFIV Airport Corporate Center Associates LLC, in the transaction.”We were able to take advantage of current market conditions to create a win-win situation for Road America and the landlord,” Thomas says in a statement. “Road America will create an environment to showcase their service lines, and the landlord secures a long-term lease.” Road America is relocating and consolidating its operations from several locations at the property, which will be a divisional headquarters, she says. Airport Corporate Center consists of 11 buildings–four class A office buildings totaling 632,680 sf, two class B office buildings totaling 173,810 sf, four flex/office showroom buildings totaling 168,235 sf and one warehouse building with 43,752 sf.
