Wright Runstad Replaces Retiring GM

SEATTLE-Wright Runstad & Co. has found a local commercial real estate veteran to take over responsibility for supporting and overseeing the operation and performance of its entire property portfolio.Carol Thomas, who currently handles that responsibility, is retiring after 18 years of service with the locally based owner, manager and developer. Assuming her role is Valerie Tomey, who has been working the metro-area commercial real estate circuit since 1990.Tomey’s professional background includes Trammell Crow Co., the Norman Co., Kennedy Associates, and most recently Sage Real Estate Strategies. Her experience includes overall management, leasing, and administration of class A high-rise buildings as well as real estate consulting for larger corporations and managing assets for development projects.Wright Runstad’s portfolio is spread among the Northwest markets of Seattle, Portland and Boise. In addition to her overall responsibility for the portfolio, Tomey will be general manager of Washington Mutual Tower Downtown, where she will keep her office.
