Walter Menuet of Vantage Cos. Houston Division represented the owner of the two-building, 117,628-sf Beltway Service Center. He tells GlobeSt.com that the lease represents an expansion space for the retailer, which will move in July 1. The space will be used for the office, wholesale sales and distribution point for merchandise for the chain. Joshua Sebesta of Bernell & Associates of Houston represented Dollar Land in the negotiations.
According to Menuet, Dollar Land took the last available spot and one that was just emptied in January in the Beltway Service Center, owned by Vantage Houston Inc., a Hawaii general partnership. The chain will move into a 76,920-sf building at 10515 Harwin St. The development's quoted rates range from 50 cents per sf to 55 cents per sf gross.
