MIAMI-Wayne Schuchts, first vice president of industrial services for CB Richard Ellis, completed eight South Florida deals totaling more than a million sf and having a transaction value of more than $80 million in the first quarter.His transactions in the first quarter included the $45-million sale of the 709,413-sf Dolphin Commerce Center portfolio, located at 11200 N.W. 25th St. in Miami, the $24.6-million sale of the 172,500-sf Telefonica building in Dolphin Commerce Center, located at 11500 N.W. 25th St.; the $12.5-million sale of the 180,000-sf former Incredible Universe property, located at 7800 N.W. 29th St. in Miami; the $5.3-million sale of 8.5 acres at International Corporate Park in Miami to Expressway Toyota; the 50,335-sf lease to DHL Worldwide Express at Dolphin Commerce Center, located at 11250 N.W. 25th St.; the $935,000 purchase of the 3,200-sf Pointe Bank, located at 19645 US Highway 441 in Miami, the 4,033-sf BenQ America Corp. lease at Doral Corporate Center, located at 8750 N.W. 36th St. in Miami; and the 4,000-sf Acer Latin America lease at Doral Corporate Center.”The industrial market in South Florida is filled with opportunities,” according to Schuchts, who characterizes this as “excellent results.”"The combination of strong investor interest in the region, coupled with companies increasingly looking to expand and/or relocate offers exciting market dynamics,” he says.
