Remington Homes, a merchant builder from Houston, was the seller of the one-acre development at 16929 Tomball Parkway. Don Stringham with Marcus & Millichap's Houston office tells GlobeSt.com that the deal closed 25 days after the purchase contract was inked. The buyers--a trio of family trusts--won the nod with the top offer on the table and the quick-close capability. He and Marcus & Millichap's Brad Bailey brokered the sale, which pulled seven offers in a four-month marketing period.

Completed in fall 2003, the center is leased for the long term. The tenant roster includes Cindy's Lingerie, children's store That's My Bratt and Maria's Bridal.

The center sits at the edge of a burgeoning retail area across Tomball Parkway from Willowbrook Mall. The neighborhood includes multiple, big box retailers like Costco and Expo Design Center as well as an AMC Theater multi-plex.
