Boykin Lodging Opens Hotel Condominium

FORT MYERS BEACH, FL-Boykin Lodging Co., a hotel REIT, recently held the grand opening of White Sand Villas, a new 92-unit hotel condominium tower here.White Sand Villas is located at the company’s Pink Shell Beach Resort, at 275 Estero Blvd. The tower consists of 92 one- and two-bedroom beachfront units with views of the Gulf of Mexico.In addition, the company is planning to break ground on its 43-unit Captiva Villas this summer, subject to getting financing and desired pre-sales. The company just started marketing the final phase of Pink Shell, Captiva Villas.Company chairman and CEO Robert W. Boykin hosted the grand opening event, also attended by community leaders, real estate brokers and White Sand Villas owners, among others. “Pink Shell Beach Resort will set the new standard for luxurious, yetfamily-oriented, vacationing on Fort Myers Beach,” Boykin says in a statement. “We continue to see a strong demand for hotel condominiums on the beach, and prices continue to rise, which is good for current owners of units at Pink Shell as well as for our Captiva Villas project.
