"Because they're complementary businesses, there's some good synergy there," Steve Kohls, an associate in the office properties division of Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona, tells GlobeSt.com. "The landlord gave us a pretty good deal, with turnkey tenant improvements."
Located at 7272 E. Indian School Road, the Scottsdale Financial Center totals 152,612 sf in the downtown. The five-story Building 3 is 80% leased. Hadley and Espirita Loci jointly signed a five-year lease worth $400,000 with AFP/SFC California LP. Rent is in the low $20-per-sf range.
Kohls says some minor reconfiguration is needed before the tenants move in, including repositioning a couple walls. The firms are exiting 17785 N. Pacesetter Way in Scottsdale. Both businesses decided to team on the lease because they often share projects.
