The 3673 Westcenter Drive property is across the street from the church's complex.The seller's broker, Ace Schlameus in Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Houston office, tells GlobeSt.com that the just-sold property was labeled as surplus and has spent the last 11 months on the "for lease" market and another four on the "for sale" listings. The foundation was seeking $50 per sf; the property is assessed at $520,900.

Schlameus says several offers were placed for the structure, built in 1981 on a 38,000-sf tract. The buyer plans to retool the class C building into its corporate headquarters, he adds.
