Ashforth Paradigm recently closed on the acquisition of two, net-leased fitness facilities in suburban Boston and is actively marketing APCA Property Fund I, a $50-million co-mingled offering that will focus on acquisition of office and industrial property with an emphasis on markets in which Ashforth or Paradigm has a local office, including: Fairfield County, CT; Westchester County, NY; Boston; Philadelphia; Columbus, OH; and Portland, OR.
Kevin McCall is president of the new entity. He notes that Ashforth Paradigm is a continuation of a long-term strategy initiated by Ashforth in the early 1990's that led to the formation of Paradigm in 1997. "Investors currently understand that many of the best opportunities are ending up in the hands of strong, local operators with demonstrated ability to manage property to its maximum potential and achieve the best investment returns," he adds.
