NEW YORK CITY-More than 250 industry professional are expected at Real Estate Media Inc.’s 2nd Annual RealShare Net Lease event held tomorrow at the Marriott Marquis in Midtown. The full-day of activities will be kicked off after introductory welcoming remarks from Jonathan A. Schein, Real Estate Media Inc.’s president and CEO by Lubert-Adler Management Inc. principal Dean Adler. He will get things started with a keynote address focusing on the current investment environment, interest rate fluctuations and where real estate, particularly net lease and sale/leaseback transactions, is within the current cycle.
“The net lease, sale/leaseback, 1031 and TIC businesses are one of the most active and interesting parts of the real estate business today and that is reflected in the great interest and attendance we have for RealShare Net Lease,” says Richard Kelley, director of the RealShare Conference Series. “RealShare Net Lease is a great combination of information and networking that has quickly become the ‘can’t miss’ event in the industry.”
The always-popular Town Hall Meeting feature will focus on “The State of the Net-Lease Landscape.” Moderated by Sterling Champ, senior vice president at CB Richard Ellis, the forum will spotlight speakers Patricia Del Rosso, president, Inland Real Estate Exchange Corp.; Bernard Haddigan, senior vice president, managing director, Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Inc.; Laurie Hawkes, president US Realty Advisors LLC; and Gary Ralston, president and COO, Commercial Net Lease Realty Inc. Questions to be addressed within this informal format include: What does it take to successfully execute net-lease, sale-leaseback, 1031 exchange and tenant-in-common transactions in today’s business climate?
