Architect Selected for Mediterranea

MIAMI-Behar Font & Partners PA has been chosen as the project architect for Mediterranea, a 16-story, 181-unit boutique condominium project planned for Miami. The architectural firm, based in Coral Gables, FL, is responsible for the building’s Mediterranean influence.The asset, designed to maximize east and west exposure, will include a retail arcade the full length of the building on the bottom level. The residences will start on the fifth floor to maximize the views from each unit, Javier Font, a principal at Behar Font & Partners, said in a statement. The fifth floor of the building will feature amenities such as a landscaped sun deck with a large pool. The luxury project will be built on 1.8 acres at 117 N.W. LeJeune Rd. One- and two-bedroom units are priced between $178,000 and $275,000. Construction is set to begin in the second quarter, and completion is planned for the fourth quarter of 2005.
