Koll Portfolio Hits 1.5M-SF Mark With La Costa Purchase

SAN MARCOS, CA-The Koll Co. beefs up its portfolio with the recent acquisition of La Costa Meadows Industrial Center for $12 million, which has brought the company's holdings to a total of more than 1.5 million sf.

SAN MARCOS, CA-The Koll Co.’s recent $12-million acquisition of a San Marcos industrial asset has pushed its portfolio past the 1.5-million-sf mark.Known as La Costa Meadows Industrial Center, the property is comprised of eight one- and two-story buildings that feature painted pre-cast, concrete tilt-up panels. They house a total of 56 office and industrial units that vary in size from 740 sf to 11,523 sf. Encompassing 154,917 sf, La Costa Meadows is currently more than 99% occupied. The complex is located on a 10.43-acre at 1611-1665 S. Rancho Santa Fe Rd. at the intersection of Melrose Drive. It was constructed in two phases that were developed in 1978 and 1991. Both The Koll Co and the seller, San Diego-based La Costa Meadows Industrial Center Ltd., were represented by Louay Alsadek and Mark Emerick of Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial.
