C&W Wins Management Deal

BELL-Owner L&B Realty of Dallas has named Cushman & Wakefield to manage its 1.8 million-sf Cheli Distribution Park, a 74-acre project near the Long Beach Freeway at Bandini Boulevard.Built from 1978 to 1981, the Cheli Distribution Park is one of the largest industrial parks in Southern California and is situated in the heart of the 280 million-sf Los Angeles Central industrial market. It includes 14 buildings with unit sizes ranging from 4,000 to 307,000 square feet. Current tenants include Target, The Individual Group, Authentic Fitness, Iron Mountain/Pierce Leahy and Dearden’s.John Casasante, who recently joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services Group in the Los Angeles office to head the firm’s expanding Southern California industrial real estate operations, will oversee management and leasing of the property for L&B. Cushman and Wakefield’s Los Angeles-based industrial team of John McMillan, Jeff Sanita and Mark Lombardo will work with Casasante on the leasing.
