St. John Outlines Conner Creek Village Plan

DETROIT-St. John Health says it has plans to transform the campus of NorthEast Hospital in Detroit into Conner Creek Village, a health and education center.

DETROIT-St. John Health says it has a new vision of its NorthEast Hospital campus in Detroit. The health care agency, which operates eight Detroit area hospitals and dozens of clinics and other offices, says it plans to turn the campus into “Conner Creek Village, A Partnership for Healthy Lives.”

The Village will feature a variety of health centers, a nurse training facility and other amenities on the campus at Outer Drive and Van Dyke in Detroit.

“Together with our partners in Conner Creek Village, St. John Health is offering the greater Detroit community a prototype for 21st-century health care,” says Elliot Joseph, president and chief executive officer of St. John Health. “Conner Creek Village is a true partnership for healthy lives. It will transform the campus of NorthEast Hospital to concentrate on primary care and chronic disease management, while also offering to the community vital social services, job training and residential opportunities.”
