Freight Forwarding Company Inks $1M-Plus Lease

HIALEAH, FL-EJGJ Ltd. has snagged a new, 70,000-sf tenant that has moved to a building EJGJ owns in the city. Bernuth Agencies Ltd., a South Florida freight forwarding company, signed the industrial lease, which is valued between $1.3 million to $1.4 million. The terms of the deal include a five-year lease with two five-year options. The value represents between $3.71 and $4 per sf.

The lease represents a relocation for the company from the Miami River area and a change from owning to leasing its facilities. The company sold its previous location and moved to the leased space, located at 725 S.E. 9th Court, which is not within an industrial park.
