La Belle Vie Checks Into Chambers Hotel

MINNEAPOLIS-The restaurant owners announced six months ago it was leaving Stillwater for a more urban location, and found one at Hennepin Avenue and South 9th Street. Ryan Cos. is doing the renovation work at the $14-million Chambers hotel project.

MINNEAPOLIS-La Belle Vie, the well-known upscale restaurant in Stillwater, MN, has decided to relocate to the new Chambers hotel. The old Fairmont Hotel on the corner of Hennepin Avenue and South 9th Street is being redeveloped.

The gourmet restaurant six months ago announced its intention to find a central spot in the Twin Cities. Stillwater is about 30 miles east of the Twin Cities near the Wisconsin border.

The French Mediterranean restaurant, which is owned and operated by restaurateurs Josh Thoma and Tim McKee, will be located directly across the street from their other restaurant, Solera.
