"Gerry joined SL Green when the company was in its infancy, and through the years, has made a significant contribution to its success," says Marc Holliday, president and chief executive officer of SL Green. Nocera, 47, has been with SL Green for more than 10 years.

This is just one of a few moves the REIT has made this year. In early January, Holliday was promoted to CE)—he continues to serve as president as well. Company founder Stephen L. Green is now chairman of the board of directors and executive officer. Later that month, SL Green said it expected to raise up to $85 million in an offering of nearly 1.8 million shares of its common stock. And in March, the REIT noted its acquisition of the 292,000-sf Berkeley Building for $67 million.
