Berling is a commercial real estate development "deal making" veteran with more than 25 years of experience, says Alex Lagerborg, president and chief executive officer. He also is director of real estate for All Terrain Property Funds and owns Berling Equities LLC, a real estate development consulting and real estate services company. He also is a board member of Matrix Capital Bank, a member of the Urban Land Institute and the University of Colorado Real Estate Council.

Previously, Berling was a senior executive with Homart Development Co., the former development arm of Sears Roebuck & Co. He was also with Glacier Park Co. and Beta West Properties. Beta West is the former real estate arm of U S West, which was the phone company purchased by Qwest Communications.

Lagerborg also was voted to the board. Lagerborg has almost 30 years in the real estate business. Previously, he was president of Capital Strategies Network, a company that provided investor relations counsel to publicly traded companies. He also served as executive vice president and co-founder of Landmark Title Services Corp., a regional title insurance company.

Berling and Lagerborg fill vacancies created by the resignations of Michael McCloskey and Brian Klemsz.
