Colliers Wins 5900 Wilshire Leasing

LOS ANGELES-RMR Properties has awarded Colliers Seeley International the leasing assignment for 5900 Wilshire Blvd., which RMR previously handled in-house.The new Colliers assignment is a 410,000-sf tower that is flanked by twin, two-story, 14,600-sf satellite buildings. The project occupies the full block between Spaulding Avenue and Ogden Drive on Wilshire Boulevard.Colliers’ assignment involves leasing more than 100,000 sf in the main tower, including the top four floors, and the eastern satellite building. The 32-story 5900 Wilshire Blvd. tower is the tallest building in the Miracle Mile district and offers 360-degree views of downtown, Century City, the Hollywood sign and the Pacific Ocean. It was built in 1971 by the Shorenstein Co. and was designed by William Pereira, the architect of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) across the street. The Colliers leasing team, based in Century City, consists of Michael Weiner, Jenny Haeg and Suzanne Lee. RMR will continue to manage the property. RMR Properties, a Los Angeles-based partnership, owns and manages office buildings and shopping centers throughout Southern California.
