The firm has constructed facilities in 22 states and has been involved with similar projects such as the Seiji Ozawa Concert Hall at Tanglewood in Lennox, MA; the Opera House in Boston; the Gosman Amphitheater at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, FL, and the Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach, FL.

The Bethel Woods project will include a 4,000-seat covered pavilion, an interpretive center and events lobby, permanent farm market structures, parking and infrastructure. The performing arts center is being developed at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival in Bethel. According to Gerry Foundation officials, the project is now before the Town of Bethel seeking site plan approval. All environmental reviews have been completed and construction is scheduled to begin sometime this summer.

Cablevision founder Alan Gerry purchased the 37.4-acre location of the original festival in 1996. Funding for the project comes from the Gerry Foundation, with more than $15 million from federal and state government sources.

Other members of the project team for the Bethel Woods project are: Architect-Westlake Reed Leskosky of Cleveland; Landscape Consultant-Olin Partnership, Philadelphia; Civil Engineer-Clough, Harbour & Associates, LLP of Albany; Land Use Attorney-Jacobowitz & Gubits, LLP of Walden, NY; and Project Manager-Zubatkin Associates, Inc. of Somers, NY.
