Derek F. Beck, Axis' new team member, exited the Navisys Group, a subsidiary of McCord Development in Houston, after a one-year stint. He and four others joined Navisys in May 2003 after the high-powered merger between CB Richard Ellis Inc. and Insignia/ESG. He's also worked for Strategis Cresa and Trione & Gordon.
The recently hired Beck hit the ground running by jumpstarting several lease negotiations. He says he also intends to expand business by "pursuing all types of deals."
"I have a lot of respect for Derek," Peyton Collins, executive vice president of the Navisys Group, tells GlobeSt.com. "I am sure he will do well."
