Rental Community to Receive $1M Condo Conversion

NORTH MIAMI-Keystone Bay, a 90-unit waterfront rental apartment community here, will receive a $1.3 million upgrade as part of a condominium conversion process. The revitalization includes improved entrances and lobbies, new elevator finishes and landings, newly designed corridors on every floor, adding a resident business center and new landscaping. The property also offers boat slips and the option to upgrade residences as part of a purchase.

Keystone Bay is located across from Keystone Point on Biscayne Bay at 135th Street and is also across the street from the 1,043-acre Oleta River State Park. Jean Inman Farrell, sales and marketing manager for Keystone Bay, says she expects a slightly higher-than-average number of existing tenants to buy their residences, limiting availability. Residences vary from studio apartments to three-bedroom units and are priced from $100,000 to $250,000.
