Medifacts' New 30,000-SF Home is Twice as Nice

ROCKVILLE, MD-Medifacts International has relocated its headquarters to the 130,000-sf building at 2101 Gaither Rd. The new 30,000-sf space is double the size of the former headquarters facility, also in Rockville, that Medifacts left behind. As it has for the past decade, Medifacts–a prominent force in the management of clinical development programs for the medical device, pharmaceutical and biotech communities–relied on commercial real estate services firm Scheer Partners Inc. to shepherd it through the search for a new location. CB Richard Ellis represented the property owner, PR Cassiday Et Al TR, in the deal.

Medifacts’ new home is a seven-story structure that was developed in 1991. Space in the building is marketed at about $27.50 per sf, according to Black’s Guide interactive. Medifacts signed an eight-year lease, Scheer Partners executive vice president and regional manager Ken Berkman tells GlobeSt.com, noting that “there are built-in options for future growth at the building.”
