Miami Riverhouse Picks Architect

MIAMI-Behar Font & Partners PA has been hired as project architect for Miami Riverhouse, a 19-story, mixed-use condominium project being developed in the city’s historic riverfront neighborhood Spring Garden.Behar Font & Partners, based in Coral Gables, FL, will be responsible for all architecture and engineering, which includes structural, mechanical and plumbing, as well as the building’s contemporary design and public spaces. The building will have glass and aluminum with blue and yellow accents and a white facade. Miami Riverhouse will focus on openness to highlight water and skyline views, according to Robert Behar, a principal with Behar Font & Partners.Miami Riverhouse, being built at 1170 N.W. 11th St., will consist of 199 residential units, 12,900 sf of second-story office space and 8,856 sf of ground-floor retail space. Units are priced between $150,000 and the $300,000s. Amenities will include a pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, a meditation garden, an executive center and 24-hour security and valet services.
