VT Controls subleased all but 5,490 sf of its office/warehouse space to TD Williamson Inc. in a decision to hold onto the balance, primarily the office component. Chris Kugle with NAI Partners Commercial in Houston tells GlobeSt.com that the United Kingdom-based VT Controls had the space on the market nearly a year at 64 cents per sf. He says negotiations got aggressive, but TD Williamson agreed to sign for balance of the three years left on the term.
The 109,336-sf building is positioned near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in the Jackson, MS-based EastGroup Properties Inc.'s World Houston International Business Center. Brent Tomlinson of Tomlinson Commercial in Houston represented TD Williamson.
