Additional details will follow tomorrow, but the news of today is that Dillard's and Foley's are on board while talks proceed with AMC Theaters to anchor the entertainment line-up. The 130-acre proposal is designed as the focal point to a 2,500-acre master-planned development by Hillwood, whose founder Ross Perot Jr. has been on a journey for years to make the deal happen at the right place and the right time.

A recent rezoning shifted the project--a retail resort--to the east side of Lake Turner to capitalize on the branding concept.

"With more than 40,000 new homes within a 10-mile radius of the Shops at Circle T Ranch, this area is one of the fastest growing regions in the country," Mike Berry, president of Hillwood Properties, said in a press release. "The tremendous growth and outstanding demographics show there is significant demand for an upscale retail resort with a tenant mix similar to the Galleria and Northpark Mall in Dallas."
