MGE Architects Adds Three to Staff

CORAL GABLES, FL-MGE Architects, a locally based commercial architecture firm, has added increased its staff by three.Lorenzo Ramos rejoined MGE as a project architect. Before that, he was a project manager with Robert M. Swedroe Architects-Planners in Miami Beach. At that firm, Ramos was responsible for producing construction documents and coordinating all trades. Before that, he was a job captain for MGE Architects, preparing schematic and construction documents. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Miami.Robin Garcia also joined MGE as a project architect. Garcia, who has more than 15 years’ experience in architecture, previously worked for Wallace, Roberts & Todd LLC in Coral Gables. There he worked on urban design, community planning and landscape architecture. He has an associate’s degree in architecture design from Miami-Dade Community College.In addition, the company has hired Tiffany Park as its marketing director. Before she joined MGE, she was a marketing specialist for the Beck Group in Tampa, FL, and researched project leads, developed print advertisements and put together proposals. Before that, she was office manager for DLR Group-Architects in Tampa, maintaining project financials and supervising support staff, and also was an associate, creating marketing materials, planning advertising and pursuing marketing leads.MGE Architects’ current and recent projects include the Lois Pope LIFE Center at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Miami and Concourse J at Miami International Airport.
