Fallon notes that the deal is a demonstration of the company's commitment to Downtown Worcester. "The new lease provides for flexibility, the ability to obtain more space, if needed, and the ability to make improvements to the building's interior," Fallon president and CEO Eric H. Schultz.
Fallon is in seven floors of the 182,492-sf, class A building, which was developed in 1991. Among the building's other tenants are Premier Insurance, Paine Webber, Sullivan Insurance and Amica Insurance.
IPC spokesman Jim Anderson, regional vice president, points out that the current market conditions in central Massachusetts provided Fallon with a number of options to choose from. "At the end of the day Fallon Community Health Plan chose Chestnut Pl. for the quality, convenience, amenities and value of the building," he says.
