$3M Rec Center Breaks Ground

PHOENIX-Scottsdale developer Sunbelt Holdings has broken ground on a $3-million, 3,900-sf recreational center in the 800-acre Sonoran Foothills master-planned development. Slated for completion in October, the facility will be among the first to risein a development with multifamily and commercial development interspersed with single-family homes.

“The topography is great. There are a lot of natural washes that run through the site that we’ve preserved, as well as an extensive trail system,” Heidi Kimball, a vice president at Sunbelt Holdings, tells GlobeSt.com. “Everything is linked with very strongpedestrian connections.”
